No touch screen is a deal breaker, that and this is only a $30 yes $30 price cut. I can get a better Acer off the mother-ship for less and it will have a touchscreen.
Of course it has a touchscreen.
Uhm… it says touchscreen right there in the title.
$300 for a refurbished Chromebook? Not a worthwhile Woot.
Here are you options for a refurbished unit at $299.99:
Intel Celeron N3540 Quad-Core w/ 32GB
Intel Celeron N3350 Dual-Core w/ 64GB
If you go to Dells site, you can get the following for new:
Intel Celeron N3350 Dual-Core w/ 32GB - $329.00 w/ freeshipping
Intel Celeron N3540 Quad-Core w/ 32GB - $399.00 w/ free shipping
Intel Celeron N3350 Dual-Core w/ 64GB - $459.00 w/ free shipping
IMO, getting the new Intel Celeron N3350 Dual-Core w/ 32GB directly from Dell is a better option.
Clarification on edit: I modified the post when I found I quoted non-touch display models. But, to be fair, WHY would you make a 2-in-1 WITHOUT touch?! Dell engineers need to be knocked in the head for that dumb idea… I cannot fathom why I would want to convert my laptop to a tablet WITHOUT being able to use touch.
[MOD: Uhm, look again, pls.]
that’s the non-touch prices. on the dell site click the 2-in-one option at the top of the main page. it’s $449 for the quad core 32GB touch.
