I have a few of these in my fleet at work. They’re aging, but still pretty stout. They held up well. The users that have them really like them small size.

This is almost just what I’m looking for, but for the low screen res. 768x1366 just doesn’t cut it for me. Does anyone know of a 12-13" screen with at least 1440x900 res (prefer 1920x1080) that weighs around 3 lbs?

This might be heavier than what you want, but the fact that it’s a convertible should help overcome that.

Here is another option $530 that will hit the weight requirement:

HP Laptop EliteBook Folio 1020 G1 (L4A54UT#ABA) Intel Core M 5Y51 (1.10GHz) 12.5" Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 Pro downgrade

Intel Core M 5Y51 (1.10GHz)
passmark is 3043 for that processor which is amazing since the max TDP of that processor is only 4.5 watts, as compared to today’s I5 which has a higher passmark of 4013 yet the max TDP is 35 watts.

You should be able to get 7-10 hours on battery life with the processor in this HP Elitebook.

8GB Memory 128GB SSD
Intel HD Graphics 5300
1920 x 1080 (not touchscreen)
2.68 pounds
Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 Pro downgrade

here is a review (this review is for a slightly different model that has the QHD display touchscreen):
