This looks like a bang-up deal here to me. At the Dell outlet store, there’s a certified Dell factory-reconditioned example of this same model for $1149. I didn’t dig deep enough to find out what the warranty is on it, but it’s certainly no longer than 3 years, and likely no more than 1 year, though I could be wrong.

The only thing that gives me pause on the Woot deal is that it lists no Bluetooth. May be an oversight, but all of the E7440 ultrabooks I’ve seen through work (and I’ve been impressed with them generally), Bluetooth has been included. But even so, this seems like an excellent deal.

These are a couple revs old, as Dell is now just retiring the E7450. I’ve been buying those for work for over a year and they are nice units.

Kind of strange that they have a lot of new laptops that were discontinued more than a year ago.

I LOVE these units. Have been buying them for work and own one as a personal device (7240 with a smaller screen). At this price it’s a no brainer IMO if you’re in the market.

In all my years on here, this is the first time I’ve seen uniform approval of a computer in the comments. I might need to pick this up.

What’s with the 4 gig of RAM. Specs don’t mention adding more. My last Dell required virtually ruining the keyboard to get at the RAM. Take this as a possible warning.
