Time to learn all about the processor

Needs a touch screen.

Would this be powerful enough for Mindcraft and its add-ons?

At first I was very interested but then I saw Windows 8 and I jumped ship. You should too.

I wouldn’t pass on this just because of Windows 8. It’s actually got a little better performance than Windows 7, and if the interface is too difficult to grasp, just get Classic Shell or something similar and the interface will work almost exactly like Windows 7.

I have it on a few systems, most recently a gaming rig, and aside from the Cougar MFDs not liking the USB enhanced power control mode, I haven’t had any compatibility issues. To fix the MFD issue, I had to edit a couple of registry entries, but once done, they work just fine too. They’re sort of a niche device, and everything else worked with no problem, so I doubt that’s a common issue.

Hanging in there with processors from 5 years ago!

You know there’s a free upgrade to 8.1 from 8 right? This basically does away with the metro interface (unless you really like it) and is a faster, more feature rich OS than windows 7? I could go on about why this is…but it’s a lot of typing and I feel those reading this will second guess your bad advice from what I’ve already written.

Indeed it would be. While it far surpasses the minimum requirements it just barely hits the mark for recommended components. Given that this is an all-in-one with a static resolution however, I would give the thumbs up for using this as a Minecraft rig.
