CPU Benchmarks

According to a couple of reviews, the touchscreen version is 3.6 lbs.

This…again. Maybe you can bring back the Pyle projector- at least it was amusing to read the comments on that.

Crucial.com says that this Dell has room for two sticks of ram, for a total of 16Gb’s.

Can anyone confirm if that is true? Doesn’t seem like a bad deal if this is the case.

Confirmed, these support up to 16GB DDR3L 1600MHz memory.

I bought one of these one the last Woot sale. Currently running 16GB of ram as well as added an additional 500GB mSATA drive. This is really a great buy. I use it as a work laptop and the only real bottleneck is the CPU, but I only hit that while compiling.

I also bought one on the last Woot. Of course it is $30 cheaper now. But it came in a grossly over sized box and without a power adapter or paperwork. I submitted a note to Woot support, so we will see what they say. And when I typed this up I hadn’t even booted it. So I gave it a shot and it has windows 7 and not 8.1, along with a standard hard drive.

Yours had a larger SSD so that’s probably the price difference.

Since your purchase was new, you should contact Dell to get the missing power adapter. We won’t have that part but they should. You can also ask about the OS & drive.

My fault on the price difference, I didn’t notice the SSD size on this one.

it is not a great deal at all. I found a better deal on amazon

same model, same CPU, but 8GB memory and 256GB SSD hard drive, and no tax (except WA); I believe Woot charges tax to most of area in US.

New vs Refurb.

Right on Woot, this is a solid deal. I don’t even need a laptop right now, but I’m almost too tempted to buy this
