Scratching head - no wired ethernet, no bluetooth and nearly 4 lbs and no optical drive. I’d get the lack of a optical drive if this was almost 2lbs. The HP spectres are probably a better deal.

This is an odd one. I noticed the Thunderbolt icons on the USB-C ports, so I went looking.

None of the Latitude 7389 models list Thunderbolt support, but the manuals list it as disabled by default. No other mention. Very odd.

Similarly, all of the models list Bluetooth as included. The 7600U model (this one) lists “Intel® Dual-Band Wireless-AC 8265 Wi-Fi + BT 4.2 Wireless Card (2x2)”

Dell has always been very consistent about the model numbers, so I’m inclined to believe Bluetooth is a Woot error, but there is still some confusion around this laptop.

It appears to be essentially identical to the Spectre, but with the slightly upgraded processor (I can only find the Spectre with a 7500U) and $100 cheaper for the comparable specs.

Half off from the new prices, too. I admit I’m a little tempted, but it is confusing.

I’ve trialed this model for work (we’ll be starting our lease with these in a couple months) and these do indeed have Bluetooth. Additionally, this is an Enterprise edition of the Latitude, meaning they were built for business and the abuse associated with businesses. It’s a very solid computer, well build, responsive and a great display. It also inks really well, which is an important piece for my job. I highly recommend this laptop.

Some of the reviews indicate this model includes a pen. I don’t see that here? Should I worry about lack of thunderbolt port?

Who remembers when Woot actually offered a deal?

I do, I bought a lot more back then, now it’s hit or miss. I still check everyday, but buy far less.

I recently bought a Dell with the same specs, but with an 8th generation quad core i7 for less than this.
Recently, Woot “deals” are often worse than regular prices elsewhere.

We have just the shirt for you.

LOL! Color: Envy green.

No pics of the keyboard?

woot pretty much died when amazon bought them out. its a shame as I like amazon and buy from there almost daily, but woot is just a memory these days.

US$400 more expensive…might be a typo or something,

Do you remember where?

Building out the exact model on Dells site puts the price at 2043.

Refurbished Price on Dell is 1230 for the 500g:

Depending on what you want to do -this is the closest I found that was cheaper…less memory and processing power and Win10 Home not pro; but also not a refurb.

Displays that support active digitizers are more expensive. If you don’t care about a pc that inks well, then it’s wasted money.

This actually is a good deal for this computer though. You get what you pay for. Having used this model it is a very solid computer and this is actually a pretty good price for it.
