Dell Latitude 7414 14.0" Laptop

Come on Woot. This processor is 10 years old and a massively slow dual core processor, running at 2,4ghz, no hyperthreading. I mean, if ya want slow, this is the computer for you!

We just put 'em out there. You don’t have to buy it.

"‘‘We just put ‘em out there’’’’ ??? Whether it’s a quality product or not! Thanks for showing you only care about a sale, not the quality of basically an obsolete 10 y/o product. Just put it out there and see who’s dumb enough to but it?

There are a lot of wooters that have or find a need for old computers.

Slow? Laptop? I mean, who buys a laptop for SPEED? As far as a 10 year old processor. I see lots of uses for this. For one, running my SKYWAVE Linux build, running my telescope, or just sitting around the pool or outdoors w/o worrying if the humidity is going to kill it. In your opinion, what do you think it should cost? Anyone who has supported or used this laptop knows what they are getting for $250. Since I fall into that area, I think it’s worth $250 (based on it’s targeted use). But year, anyone buying it for a desk top use would be a little off center.

No, the “dumb” people are the ones who don’t know how to make ANY computer work for them. I run some nice SDR software on a OLD HP laptop that only has 4gb of ram (maxed). I’m pretty sure it’s 20 years old (maybe older), all I know it boots up, runs my software and is acceptable for me. And I’m someone who runs a GEN5 NMVE M.2 SSD 2tb drive in my OLD HP Z840 (2 XEON cpus, 128gb ram)
