When are we going to see the āold customers who have been steeped in disappointment for years save 10%ā?
I have this business grade Latitude 7420, but in aluminum rather than carbon fiber. Also Grade A, off lease but directly from Dell Financial. Itās a really solid machine. Do not compare this to the crappy big box store new $500 consumer grade laptops.
We also have an off lease Grade A Latitude 5530 - the next line down. The plastic case and lower performance touch pad relegates it to family loaner status. Still works fine but not nearly as nice.
Assuming it is in Grade A condition by a reliable refurbisher, and perfectly functional, $330 is a solid deal. If Microsoft hadnāt pushed us to migrate to MacOS with its āsend perfectly good Windows 10 machines to the dumpā Windows 11 strategy, Iād seriously consider buying this.
Be sure to thoroughly test it and give it a work out upon receipt. That means at least turning off sleep and leaving it up and running for a couple days straight. Run the Dell diagnostics.

Bought one. Noticed āIn the boxā does not state that a charger is included, but the photos clearly show what looks a lot like a Dell charger.
This laptop charges via USB-C, so no proprietary charge port. That means any good USB-C charger will work, as long as it is capable of at least 65 watts, 90- 100 watts better. Anker chargers are far more compact than the standard Dell charger for travel.
While the RAM is soldered in (16GB should be fine for average use), the SSD storage is upgradeable by anyone handy. 256 GB should be fine for typical use, but if you store a lot locally, will get tight. My 7420 has 512GB and after a year of use sits at 115 GB used. (We keep our 50,000+ photos/videos on a desktop machine and in iCloud.)
Laptops come with the charger/adapter. 
If youāre a spec chaser, Dell Financial currently has an aluminum body (vs Carbon Fiber) 7430 for $400 after promo. Same 16GB/256GB, but a generation newer 12th gen i5, that likely performs a quicker than this 11th gen i7. The next gen 7430 is also more efficient for longer battery life.
If I didnāt have the 8% Microsoft + 5% Prime card rewards, I might consider paying $70 more for the Dell deal, but itās actually $113 more for me and does not have the nice Carbon Fiber case.
Tough call and a personal preference thing. In the end, the quality of the refurb/condition evaluation might matter as much. I am fairly tough on sellers when they claim condition Grade A.

I just received my order, and not only was it in excellent condition, the build quality surprised me as well; it reminds me of the Dell Chromebook I had years ago, with a similar [pseudo-]carbon fiber material.
Also, mine has a touchscreen and came with the 1185, illustrating how sometimes you can get an unannounced spec increase, especially with tech bought on Woot. Itās not the first time Iāve experienced it, and itās definitely not guaranteed, but itās a nice surprise when it happens nevertheless.
While Iāve not personally held a carbon fiber 7420, Dellās own support page does not say āsimulated carbon fiberā. It says Carbon Fiber.
I too received an unexpected spec āupgradeā on a (aluminum) 7420 directly from Dell Financial to the 2-in-1 touch version. Although, more interested in durability/reliability, I didnāt really consider it a plus. In fact, other than trying out the flip ātabletā mode once, Iāve never returned to it.
I consider the 7000 series - whether aluminum or carbon fiber - to be a well worthwhile upgrade over the plasticy 5000 series, a dramatic difference.

Condition initially looks excellent if not brand new. Have to search for wear - where the top corners of the display touch the bottom half of the laptop when closed thereās some minor abrasion on the bottom half as one would expect. Otherwise looks solid so far. Mine is not a touch screen, actually preferred for me.
Testing the machineā¦ check all ports carefully - I noticed a some wear on the right side USB-C port, indicating this was not a desktop lifer. Run it plugged in with sleep disabled for at least 24 hours.
Download Dell Support Assist app from Dell if it isnāt already loaded, run a full scan. (Edit 2: consider downloading the Dell Power Manager app since at least for the app versions I have it rates the battery condition - āExcellentā in my case. You can AI-search for a Command Prompt way to see more detail about the battery condition.)
Iām still waiting on the supplier to ship, from June 25th
UPDATE: July 10th-Woot initiated a complete refund, stating there was no further inventory.
Oh well, I did receive a $10 promo coupon code along with the refund, which I do appreciate. Thanks Woot!

āNot sure it helps, but the update dates on my 7420 were from a few days prior to it shipping - indicating at least mine had(edit tense) not been sitting on a pallet in the corner of a warehouse. So perhaps they got behind in prepping them for shipment?
