check ebay…the same is 100 or even more bucks cheaper

If you have links for that I’d love to pass them along to my vendor team. Thanks!

Same general comment without a direct price comparison - many of us who shop computers here are basically specs, um, let’s say junkies. This seems a very high price point for a high end refurb. Great screen, good size (for me, anyway), and generous SSD. I’d call the RAM reasonable and the integrated graphics disappointing - I’d want to see Iris Pro with eDRAM. No Thunderbolt, no USB-C. And vPro strikes me as more a corporate IT need than individual. I’ve felt the value on the last few computer offerings has been poor. Not bad machines, just not really good when you trade off specs or components for price.

Keep swinging, though - there have been many that I’ve thought have been excellent value as well.

I gotta say, in addition to the price and free shipping, the Ebay deal looks a touch better, with webcam and mic listed in the specs as being present (my guess is that the Woot deal possibly does include those, since I haven’t seen an E7470 that didn’t come standard with them), as well as a backlit keyboard.

One major difference to point out is this Woot comes with a 3yr Dell warranty while the ebay deal is only the balance of the original warranty.

I can’t see how paying $125.00 for a month longer warranty is a good thing. I agree it is a difference, but still looks like a plus for the eBay offering.

It is 3 year warranty on ebay as well.

I’d be careful with buying Dell on eBay. I’m not saying don’t do it, but do your homework. Dell has 2 classes of Factory Refurbished products. Dell Factory Recertified or Dell Factory Scratch and Dent refurbished. Unfortunately, I’ve been burned too many times buying Dell on eBay as sellers keep selling scratch and dent as just Factory Refurbished. There’s a big difference in product quality (scratches, dents, chips, dead pixels, etc on the Scratch and Dent models).
