This is a great deal for anyone who needs a machine for basic tasks. Getting the Win10 license with this makes it almost a no brainer if you’re on a budget. You could make this a capable gaming machine by throwing a low profile 1050ti in it. Won’t play everything but most games should play fine on medium to low settings.

Can this little guy run two monitors in it’s current format? I see two possible connections…but I am not sure.

PassMark CPU Benchmark: 5884

The Core i5-2400 is a 2nd-gen Intel Core i-series CPU, often identified by its code name Sandy Bridge. While the CPU is almost 6 years old, it is a quad-core CPU and can easily handle day-to-day tasks.

Due to the form factor and the 240W power supply, your upgrade options will be limited. Swapping the 250GB hard drive for an cheap SSD of the same capacity would provide a significant boost in perceived performance.

While there is a PCIe expansion slot, it is restricted to half-height cards, and the small power supply mean you’ll only be able to use graphics cards that require the 75W the slot can provide or less. That said, if you can find a half-height low power GPU like this MSI GTX 1050 Ti Low Profile, you could get some entry-level 1080p gaming out of this machine.

the i5-2400 is decent. my kids play skyrim on it and it looks decent enough. it’s comparable to a current i3. and My machine is a Dell not HP not that it matter THAT much.

This computer has a display port and a vga connector so it can run two monitors. You’ll need to buy a display port to dvi adapter.
