This is a Haswell generation processor introduced in 2013.

Even better, the GPU is almost a decade old!

With that tiny 290W power supply, it’s not a good candidate to throw a better video card into.

And Dell is bad about using nonstandard power supplies, so that’s not easily upgradable either.

This is junk at this price.

The video card doesn’t support 4K, so that’s potentially a bad thing.

I love Dell Precisions (I have one sitting on my desk at work and one at home).

This isn’t a spectacular deal, though - you can go to NewEgg and get something pretty comparable for this price or less, e.g. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4GH72H8536

I need to find the designer of that Dell case. I haven’t seen that much inspiration in case design since the one below. Note the one below has that same Dell diamond pattern! Once you see that diamond pattern you are hooked!

Ok- now I get it. The old processor and videocard added to the diamond embroidered case. This is VINTAGE!
That’s how you promote this. It even has PS/2 ports!

note the vintage cross pattern that directly inspired the beautifully designed vintage Dell case.

This is total crap…

Can you guys point me in the right direction for a $500 CPU or Laptop? I don’t need monitor included if it’s a CPU. Thanks!

I would normally ask why you think that but I think that’s been established. :\

Lol I literally saw one of these under a desk in an office today.

The biggest issue with this machine is the GPU isn’t even supported by AMD any more. Kinda overpriced for that reason.
