So, no communication from Woot CS for a few weeks. I just sent another email asking them what’s up. Did you hear anything from them?
My patience ran out about a week ago and I requested and received a refund. Then I was able to grab the re-mix wellington case yesterday - so in my mind I feel like I traded the zin for the mixed case, a deal I’d take any day of the week.
Also, I’m not a fan of the '12 zin we received. It has an overwhelming vanilla (oak?) flavor to me. What do you think?
Honestly, I’ve been so awash in Wellington lately I haven’t had a chance to try the D-H Zin – for better or worse. I don’t see any tasting notes on CT so far.
I wrote to Woot CS again yesterday and got an acknowledgment – still waiting for any kind of substantive response. I’ll post again, whatever the result.
Oh, well, I was hoping for the '09, but it wasn’t to be. I’m getting a refund as well.
