Derby #64 Cyberpub: What's in a name?

plus a dinosaurs skin is pretty thick, especially that ones. So he probably wouldnt mind the kids.

His skin may be thick, but there’s only so much emotional distress his pea-sized brain can handle.

Plus, he’s really, really thirsty.

You should make him a more pale color then, and make his head cocked towards the pool. Or better yet, have his head near the pool and staring at it, with a tear in his eye! Im just giving suggestions, you dont have to take them.

Too late, I already failed basket weaving. I miss the smell of pine straw and animal hair in the morning, but I was never good with plaiting. Unfortunately, that’s one of the primary styles. If only I had been allowed to specialize into wicker and splint…

so computer stuff was your fallback career? i bet your parents were so sad. “mom… dad… i’ve failed basket weaving. now i’ll try computer engineering. if that doesn’t work out, mabe i’ll settle for doctor.”

lol

I went with the brown since it used the negative space. The asphalt didn’t look right as a color for the dog. The only thing I second-guessed was the color of the leash/sky. Could have gone with a much lighter blue perhaps. But I love how it turned out.

I’m trying to incorporate more textures in designs, what do you guys think?

zombies dont think

I think that’s a great idea, just maybe put it a bit higher on the shirt. The pet connection is a bit hard to get at present, but maybe the right title will connect it to this theme more clearly (like “Come Closer, My Pet” except funnier).

I guess we are gonna have to start doing that now…thanks to the octopi. :^)

I’d say you need to make the top and bottom look like they are going away from you- smaller, angled somehow, if you’re going to effectively use the textures.
This reminds me more of how the cartoon ‘Chowder’ uses textures. I love Chowder, by the way. it is terrific.

Thanks, I’ll work on the title. I have a gator on the tag, you just can’t see it too well. I’ll enlarge it for the shirt comp.
I realized the problem with the placement just now- I hope the eyes are in a better place now. doh!

I thought Mr and Mrs Gator had 3 of those little ducks yesterday…

that show is the best show since dragon ball z! Can we make shirts that have something on the back?

either front or back, not both.

not both! WHY!!!

It’s because of ME! Way back in the create your own superhero derby, I made a “Duct Tape Man” design, with the name on the front and (ultimately) a cape on the back made from duct tape. I got 3rd place and they didn’t print it. But, they also didn’t print the winner, because of a copyright issue, and so the second place shirt was printed. A couple of weeks later they printed a week of 2nd or 3rd place shirts because they had decided to start printing 2nd and 3rd place shirts, and mine was selected. However, they only printed the front side, and after that they put in a rule that you could only have a design on the front or the back, but not both.

HOW COULD THEY!!! HOW COULD YOU!!! DARN YOU!!! DARN YOU TO HECK!!!

now, Phil, you don’t scare me with your rampant darnings. I don’t wear socks! so there!
