Derby #98 CyberPub: she is reported to have said that

I agree. Problem is I’m at my color limit but it’s really silly looking just the people. Wonder if I make the flames all into black and/or halftone them to make them darker…

it’s too bad woot isn’t clearer on what their limits are. otherwise you mite chance mixing the yellow and red a little to make a pointillistic orange for the flames.

I can’t tell what shirt colour you’re using. My best guess is navy, in which case you shouldn’t use black.

Supposed to be asphalt. I screen-capped Illustrator, and it throws off colors…

The half-tone looks really nice though.

The other one I’m working on is a wise man in a laboratory pouring an Erlenmeyer flask into a beer stein (It was a wise man who invented beer- Plato). There is typical mad scientist equipment behind a guy who’s straight out of the three-wise-men from the Bible. The sketch on paper looks very silly.

Need to think if I can use the devil for other things since the woman idea may not win. Anyone got a good devil quote?

The devil made me do it?

Between the devil and the deep blue sea?

The devil and Daniel Webster?

The devil is in the details.
Get thee behind me, Satan.

give the woman a black dress, and give it a few white highlights to get rid of the purple. That gives you another color.

edit: make it a white bra.

I don’t understand the bra part.

Geeze Louise Poof
It’s an undergarment big girls wear. Maybe
you should have a talk about the birds and
bees with dahname.

I know what a bra is, I don’t know what it has to do with a woman scorned. Perhaps you could explain it to me.

Ohh sorry ! don’t know much about scorning
but good at aggravating if that might help

I was trying to suggest that the “salesman devil” has cheated on his wife, and she’s gonna kill him… I think I need her with a sharp knife instead of pointing.

EDIT: Ooh! What if I make the woman an ANGEL, with fluffy wings, white dress, gold hair, and holding a red bra. That would be more comical- devil cheats on angel with another devil. Making the angel go all evil on his butt…

Mmmmm.

How do you know about me and my bras???

Hmm. Wonder if I should make it really weird and add a third cup to that bra. To make it extra demonic.

Where does the bra fit in with the scorn? Are you saying she found the bra and it’s not hers? Cause I’m not getting that. If that’s what you’re trying for, perhaps a shirt with lipstick on the collar?

Edit: Or the little guy’s cloak.

Me too.

I had to read the phrase and think about it.
Adding the lipstick would help.

Horns on the women to show she is mrs devil?

Okay, since others are chiming in. You’re supposed to be comparing hell and a woman scorned. I don’t get the devil at all. And cheated on, I’m not sure that’s scorned.

1a. Contempt or disdain felt toward a person or object considered despicable or unworthy. b. The expression of such an attitude in behavior or speech; derision. 2. One spoken of or treated with contempt.

TRANSITIVE VERB: 1. To consider or treat as contemptible or unworthy. 2. To reject or refuse with derision. See synonyms at despise.
INTRANSITIVE VERB: To express contempt; scoff.

Okay, I’ll can it. If it requires explaining, it won’t get votes. I’ll hold onto the devil, since I like him at least.

which color is best?
