Disco Owl…

Groovy hoots!

I hope this is enough of a difference to resub. Less distressing, changed type, moved some stuff around.

If you know the song, then you know it’s been ranked the 15th greatest hard rock song of all time. If you don’t know the song, hey, you’ll look good for the ladies. If you’re a lady, well, you know, ladies can be doctors too…

I hand-tooled every letter and curve of this design, and included a self-made distress filter (no cookie-cutters on my watch!). I design what I like, and if you don’t (like), let me know what you think.

Side-Note: The main reason I chose this version of the logo over an older variation (like it would have been circa 1989) was because I really enjoy the letterforms. But also, ‘New Vintage’, I believe, would encompass similar concepts as this. And it should be more recognisable than the old Dr. Pepper logo. (If there is outcry, I may retool it under the old logo, depending on vote-splitting.)

This is an ode to the great '80s styles. Bold lines, Nagel-type illustrations. On navy with white, gray, yellow and turquoise inks.

I picture myself wearing this shirt during Hands Across America II…

coming soon!

Many Smacktivision games recognize high-scoring players with special merchandise like this lovely shirt. Consult the various game instruction booklets for details on how to become a member of one of our high score clubs!

I hope distressing wasn’t absolutely required. I don’t much care for it myself.

I am going to give this design another shot since it fits the theme and made it to sixth place last time. I have listened to some of your suggestions and made changes based on them. I hope everyone likes it!

Please support the Fonze!

Love the colors. I’m so pumped for the colors in this derby

Sweet.
