Original inspiration came from The Partridge Family logo of the partridges in a line.
Yes, I know the TV show was from the 70’s, but the style of that art is from the 60’s.
Additionally, the background was inspired by the bus in the same show, which I believe in turn was inspired by Piet Mondrian.
And I do know that Mondrian died in the 40’s. However, his style and influence pushed well into the 50’s and 60’s in several different artists and mediums.

I think this is one of your nicest designs, jas’. Mid-century modern art has a lot in common with your personal style already, so this was a great fit. :^)

Six color design inspired by Eyvind Earle’s “Land of the Midnight Sun” here
and “Grand Canyon Concourse Mural” by Mary Blair.

Bombs are your friend. Going for Cold War propaganda with this one. Let me know what you all think.
when I think of the 50s style, I think of these colors plus abstract art.
The sleep of reason produces grooviness. A parody in a mid-C20th style of “The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters” by Goya.
Inspired by Eyvind Earle’s landscapes (amazing!!!) and what’s outside my window.
