It took me a moment to get that 6-fingered “V”, and I’ll give credit for that, but overall it’s difficult to “conceive” the word. Nice effort but some of the letters just don’t stand out (like the “N” and “B”) as spelling the word.

Poetry, I think. I believe it was rejected for not being poetry, but HM’d because it was good work.
