I don’t care that it is an English saying meaning “equivalent retaliation,” or that it is a highly effective strategy in game theory for the iterated prisoner’s dilemma, or even that the strategy was first introduced by Anatol Rapoport in Robert Axelrod’s two tournaments, held around 1980 (thank you, Wikipedia). If you come in this establishment wearing that shirt, there’s going to be trouble.
You can’t just wear an offensive shirt like that and not expect to get the justifiable equivalent retaliation of a slap in the face.
So just be forewarned. If you wear that shirt, a weirdo’s shirt if there ever were one, in here, you might get smacked…
