The back of woot’s shirt blanks are infused with a sweat resistant polymer that does not allow the ink to stick.

Nah, really, it’s they don’t have the setup to apply the digital print to the back. They’d have to like flip around the whole assembly line or something… I don’t know.
It might be that they’d have to source the printers from Australia.

I feel super special that I have one of the only (the only?) zip hoodies with a design on the back (and a bonus small design on the front). I bought it close to 10 years ago, and even though it’s not fleecy any more and the cuffs are stretched out, I cling to it like some relic of a bygone era.
Oh, and the design is still good as new, no signs of peeling, after much abuse and many washes.
