I almost pulled the trigger on this a couple months ago when Woot had it for $79.99. Today, coincidentally with the 10% off available in app, the same item is now $92.99. I smell shenanigans.
Tool prices across the board are up significantly in the last couple of months due to the tariffs and general markups. Some of Gearwrench’s wrench sets have almost doubled in price since the beginning of the year.
I want this…but because grip strength is an important marker in old age I will stick with my manual clippers.
I am 80 years old. I purchased these shears early this spring. My 84 year old brother-in-law stopped by while I was pruning some small trees. He had me order a pair on the next woot offer. I hired a 78 year old man to assist me with some other work and yep, we used these shears and I am just now ordering him a pair. If you can pull a trigger, you can use these! They are amazing! And they are DeWalt!
