Response: yes it’s a different model, but it speaks to Dewalt’s quality. As a 25+ year professional builder, I can confidently say that Dewalt is the most overpriced power tool brand I know of compared to the actual quality of the tools. This failure happened to me last weekend, literally vibrated apart in my hands. The tool was not dropped or misused. I completed the work with a borrowed generic recipro from Harbor Freight, and it did 4x the work the Dewalt did before it failed.
