OK, I get the red shirt thing, but I don’t remember this episode. Are those aliens from a particular show, movie, comic book? Oh, I just figured it out thanks to Google. Galaxy Quest.
Why the red shirts died so often…
The rock resembles the HORTA creature episode. It ate tunnels through rocks, and laid round eggs that looked like bowling balls.
But Galaxy Quest was the best Star Trek movie ever made!
