Do LCD TV’s typically have a “bulb” in them? At any rate that’s almost 7 years, if on 24/7/365.

Stop! You’re both right! A new audio track was dubbed over the original for “Sing Along Songs”. My kids watched that until the oxide wore off the tape.
Upon close inspection of the pictures it looks like it’s made by the same people who make the Element TVs (at Circuit City) and the Memorex 32" (at Sears). I have the Element 32" they had for sale on black friday. I do have one stuck pixel that seems to come and go, although i havent seen it for a while. The manufacturer would not replace it though because they have a minimum of 8 dead/stuck pixels required for replacement. So assuming this TV is made by the same people who make Element and Memorex (which it looks like) it is a great quality for the price, but manufacturer support may not be all that great

would never buy this brand, i have a Sony Brava. i was just saying that 30 bucks will not put me over the edge to buy something.

You misunderstand.
It can handle an input of all four of those resolutions, but its NATIVE RESOLUTION can only be one thing. It is, as others have mentioned, 1366x768, which is what most TVs that are called “720p” really are.

Pretty sure you mean 1080p. You’d really have to search far and wide to find an HDTV with a native interlaced display. Would almost have to be a CRT projection display, I think – plasma, LCD, LCD projection, DLP, D-ILA, etc etc – these are all progressive displays.
Anyone know if this is wall-mountable? My mom wanted one for her workout room for the wall.

LCD’s have a CCF fluorescent bulb like a laptop only larger but usually have 4 of them instead of just one. They have a life of thousands of hours. They are not replaceable by the owner but they usually last longer than the inverter that powers them.
