Meet Woot the tarantula.
It’s a UPS spider. It can only turn right.

Pepita was ok with the initial visit. She kinda warmed up to him…

And then he moved.

I wish I could upload all of the MP4s I have of her reaction. She still wants to play but she is still mostly on the run. But here is my 1st attempt at a GIF:

I had one “leap in the air like I landed on aluminum foil” in the beginning, but mostly they just watch and move safely away if it comes close.
I made the mistake of putting it into the auto mode, which I could not disable as described without actually turning it off! It kept attacking a chair leg and once it got a hold of it wouldn’t let go.
Oh, and it definitely does not work on carpet.

Well shes having lots of fun with this. To bad the plastic wheels emit so much noise on tile and we cannot enjoy peace & quite while she enjoys it!
