Do we all dislike CS as of recent?

I remember the old woot. Where we could call and they were helpful.

I’ve been back and fourth with Customer Service for almost a month now and I was just told they can’t help. After the run around and dead ends.

So back story. I have bought several items through Prime on woot recently. Then all of a sudden I get error sign in messages. Where I can’t buy with my Prime but I can see everything else. I have checked my Prime linked accounts-woot is authorized. Cleared my cookies, cache etc. Used the app and different devices. All the same issue.

Customer service has replied with the basic replies. I’ve sent screen shots. I’ve asked to be directed to someone that knows a thing or two like IT. Nothing. They tried to say that it was prime being in trial. I replied that I’ve bought items with my prime before the issue and then they told me they couldn’t help.

Woot has gone down since the buy out. Sad to say they have lost me.

Is your prime account a trial version?

The old woot didn’t have a number to call.

Yeah, I got two months free before being billed. I have already bought several items with it though.

Have you tried a different browser? For some reason or another, there are times that Woot decides it hates my Chrome browser. I then switch to Firefox for a while and eventually I come back to Chrome and it’s working.

@Froodyfrog Have you experienced this with a prime trial?

I know you’re out today.

Signing in? No.

It’s everything else which has an issue.

Hi there. Login issues are one of the hardest things to troubleshoot especially when it affects only one account.

I see that you’re last prime login was 9/19/2020 so it seems to be working on the backend.

Here’s my list of things to try. I see you’ve tried many but just double check them, pls:

  • Log out of Woot and log in using the Login with Amazon button
  • On the checkout page, check “use this address”
  • If you are using Microsoft Edge, switch to Chrome or FireFox
  • Clear cookies for Amazon & Woot
  • Allow cookies from Amazon & Woot
  • Allow pop-ups; turn off pop-up blockers
  • Log out and back in on Amazon, especially if you’ve changed anything there (e.g. cards, email, etc.)
  • Try an incognito or private mode in your browser

Let me know the results. I’ll ask a coworker that’s good at sleuthing these.

Yeah, I’ve tried everything. No luck

Hi there. We’ve opened a TT with our developers to see what they can find. These one-off issues are the hardest to debug so be patient.

Not trying to start an argument or anything, but I have to say, I’ve had REALLY great customer service on Woot. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service through Amazon. I wish I could actually go through woot to handle the most inept CS issues I have with Amazon. And if I get one more pantry box soaked in pickle juice with smashed chips and actual supplements out of the bottles with the bubble wrap thrown on top of all the broken items, I’m going to lose my noodle. And, when trying to report it, they kept putting me on hold and hung up on me. Yuck. Cringe. Punch Air.
