Do you celebrate Boxing Day?
Boxing what?
No but my in-laws in Toronto do because it’s a Canadian holiday.
C’mon Woot!, it’s your fault we celebrate multiple Unboxing Days throughout the year!
Depends what you mean by celebrate it. I’m a big hockey fan and the world Junior championship (essentially the best hockey players not yet in the NHL) always starts on Boxing Day (outside of COVID wonkiness). I have no idea what the actual holiday entails so I don’t celebrate it by participating in the appropriate traditions, but I celebrate it by watching the tournament… Then again, I watch the rest of the tournament which isn’t on Boxing Day as well.
Best. Day. Ever!
Sly Stallone wishes you a Happy Boxing Day!
lol… While we were unwrapping Christmas gifts today, Damien (the cat) was on the table watching us. One of the gifts we opened, for some reason, he was eyeballing that box. As soon as I sat it down, he jumped down off the table and sat between us in that box jsut watching us. This picture is exactly what he looked like!
It is rather wet. So I made a box of broken down boxes on the curb (inside large garbage bag) versus using the pit. All ready for boxing day or rather our garbage pickup offset by Christmas.
I do not celebrate it now. I did when I lived overseas.
No, but my maternal grandparents may have as children
Man, talk about unboxing a nemory. That takes me back to 2005. Remember taking several long trips in the summer with that cd playing. Miss that car and that wide open road feeling.
Servant holiday after having waited on their masters all day on Christmas.
