Do you eat raw cookie dough?
What sort of barbarian do you think I am?
It’s in chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream so why not?

Nah… but not because it’ll kill you (it won’t unless you are already sick) … I just don’t like it.
Of course. It’s one of the four essential food groups.
cause it is nasty and much better baked!
Got to try it before you bake them, so:
The packaged stuff is fine raw, but I wouldn’t eat the homemade stuff raw.

It was a past time thing. Never had ill effects. We bought the “edible raw cookie dough” from the grocery in past decade, but the experience-to-price ratio wasn’t worth it back then (I would hate to know the price now). These days I just want to know when the cookies are pulled from the oven. For the best texture and taste, I dive in while the cookie is still in the nearly molten lava state.

You had me at cookie and eat

Every holidays Costco offers these HUGE Nestles 3 lb tubs of tollhouse cookie dough . Just scoop 6 balls onto a cookie sheet, 12 mins or so in the convection oven, and vwalla, molten gooey delic’ chocolate chip cookies.

No. It’s much better fresh from the oven. I’ve never bought cookie dough premade. It’s too easy to make from scratch!

No. I do not eat raw cookie dough.

Yes! But just a little taste of it!
I used to, but don’t anymore.
Not because I’m worried about it, but because I never really do any baking, so there’s no raw dough to eat.
I let Trader Joe’s do the baking. ![]()
Keep the dough, I’ll just eat the chocolate chips.
