Cookie dough, cake batter⦠bring 'em on.
I donāt make cookie dough just to eat it raw, but anyone who isnāt scraping the bowl to eat the last little bit while the cookies bake is just leaving too much life behind on the plate

I may lick the spatula or beaters for a quick taste, but I donāt eat raw dough or batter by the spoonful. Used to, but apparently nowadays there are pathogens in the raw flour and eggs, so I donāt go overboard.
Apparently I am in the minority here, but I prefer cookie dough over cookies.
I did, āback in the day,ā but I havenāt made cookies in several years, so thereās no dough to eat.
When I did, tho, it was homemade cookie dough. I was never tempted to eat the store boughten stuff.
I, too, prefer my cookies at the āmolten lavaā stage, fresh out of the oven, and slightly gooey.
Dang it! Now I have to make some cookies! LOL

I donāt think the health department would allow us to sell raw cookie dough.
HUGE Nestles 3 lb tubs of tollhouse cookie dough
We own a bakery. Not buying that stuff.
No, we donāt eat the raw dough.
Not after seeing this.

Absolutely

DO NOT google if people actually die from eating raw cookie dough unless you also want to ruin your life ![]()
I have a Cuisinart iwth bread dough blade, i have NO excuse for not making my own. How long does it keep refrigerated? I like hte tub because I can use it all December, take what I need.
(Alas, I no longer work in an office where I can bring in a big storage container of 30 little cookies and make everyone smile.)
Yes. My wife has a safe to eat recipe. Itās really delicious. We serve it with animal crackers. It getās eaten up quickly every time.
Amazing, thanks for sharing!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing the recipe. I recall reading that baking the flour was the key to a safe eggless dough, and this certainly sounds tasty.
