Do you talk to your pets when no one is around?
I talk to @narfcake; he’s a cat.
Of course. I do it when people ARE around. Why would I not do it when people AREN’T around?
I talk to my pets when other people ARE around.
Even when people were around I talked to him.
Yes… Why would I not? They do know some of what I’m saying to them.
Yeah. And I don’t even have a pet. That’s OK, right? Right?!
Got no pets…
I talk to them when people are around, too. They iz a peeplez too!
Why do the 6% even own pets?
The GSD is part of the conversation, no matter who is around. Now, I do have longer discourses with her when it is just us. She is a good listener, and she needs final talk and pet before bed.
I talk with them all the time, doesn’t matter whether people
are around or not.
The real question is: do you talk to your pets when THEY aren’t around?
Because then people would think you are crazy
I don’t currently have a pet, but if I did, I would talk to it.
I’m currently talking to my cat, Suzie. She keeps trying to dig in my fake plant. I like my fake plant, so I keep telling her to stop that and she meows, walks over to me, and waits for chin scratches. I give her chin scratches and continue talking to her.
Then we repeat this over again as soon as I stop giving her my undivided attention.
I iz not a cat.
