Do you watch reality TV?

Oh HELL no!
First off, there ain’t nothing “REAL” about that shit.
Second of all, I have no need to live vicariously through some scripted hollyweird arsehole.
I only watch The Amazing Race.
I used to – before I didn’t anymore.
The Hawthorne Studies (1924–1932) demonstrated that people “change” if they know that they are being watched. So, reality TV cameras multiply the effect of being " watched " by 1 million means ain’t no way it is close to real behavior.

Back in the day I watched the first few episodes of Survivor and then Ed TV made me really lose interest

My wife loves this show.
The closest thing to “reality tv” on TV is golf. If it’s boring, it’s probably reality tv.
No… Just Movies, Series and Sitcoms on TV.

I remember lazy weekends turning golf on, falling asleep, and waking up wondering, “Where am I?”

All the food reality shows on Food Network. Competitions, scary restaurants, weird videos.

Nope. I won’t waste my precious time watching those bogus reality TV shows. Unless shows like COPS are considered a reality show, then I guess I do watch reality shows (and waste my other precious time watching YouTube videos).

No. Never have seen one.
One the scripting became obvious, no. There was a time i enjoyed several of the discovery channel’s offerings though.

I don’t like watching people be mean to each other.
Reality TV is just enshitified television where you are being delivered drama without a writer having to get paid to write it. If there isn’t enough drama they just add alcohol.
I used to, waaaaaay back in the MTV Real World and Road Rules days.
Now I don’t, but my boss does - especially 90 Day Fiancé & all the spin-offs- that she tells me ALL about, so I politely pretend interest because BOSS. ![]()
