Well that is irony for me, I just sent my variable speed one back to Dremel today. They seem to be really good about replacing a defective unit, should you have one. My family and friends all have them, and I got the only one that was defective. However I want mine back and and perfect working condition, and Dremel said no problem, I like that in a company.
