“dxg”? i’ve never heard of this company before. i’ve enough trouble getting my canon, sony, and jvc camcorders to live longer than a few years, i’m curious about the build quality of this no-name…

That’s a different model. This one is: DXG-5K1V.

I never heard of DXG and given the ever reducing price, I’ll have to pass even though I’m looking for one in this price range. Sounds like a generic brand and just like with plastic wrap, it’s a waste of money to go generic.
