I purchased a refurb model AM04 last fall mainly for the heat option. Winter came, began to use the heat and then trouble, the house breaker switch flipped off several times. Contacted Dyson for help, not very helpful. Insisted my house breaker switch was the problem. They really did not want to replace the unit. OK, I’ll try it there way; same problem. Called again, Dyson folks very, very reluctantly agreed to send another unit, only this one time! The rep strongly indicated that she was doing me a favor, this time. Received a brand new unit, whoa, surprise. And then a week later got an email about a product recall. Reason? For the problem I had originally. Moral; be sure to register your product, and, politely stand your ground. Don’t be rude, but be firm. Good luck with your purchase.

Does this fan use common core math to multiply air 17 times?

Doh! You might give a little bit more info on these things and you might have a sale…it’s a Lazy Easter and I’m not bothering to search stuff out…thanks anyway.

Does this thing work like a regular fan if you throw a raw egg into the middle , or is this some kind of Woot trick? Also lucky lady to have a remote control after having a heavy dinner of beans!

Just received my Dyson fan, and it looks like it has been abused for some time; scratches all over. It functions. I can live with that, but when I ran the fan for 10 minutes and came back inside the area smelled like cigarette smoke. I guess reburbished on Woot means product returned, repackaged and send out to the first sucker. Buyer beware!!!
