Does anyone know what model number this is?
I can see if I can get one later in the morning but it’s this one:
Dyson does use model numbers much.
We bought a Dyson a couple years ago, and now the plastic handle, the one that you use to carry the damn thing, has started to crack. Add that to some of the less compelling design features (I’d like to see Sir James Dyson do stairs with that wand), and I don’t think they’re worth the premium. They do clean well, but at significant price.
I bought one of these at Goodwill for $5. Apparently, the previous owner did not know there was a filter in the ball. I cleaned it out and it worked perfectly. It is a fine vacuum. The only problem is, the waste container fills up very fast, especially if you have deep carpeting. Also, clean the filters once a month or performance does drop. Not everyone can find one for $5 bucks, but I would say it is worth the price it is being offered for here.
