I had the DC25 a few years ago (very similar to this one). it was very nice, comes with a good warranty and the ball is an interesting feature. the best thing is the power though, it was at least 5 times more powerful than a standard vacuum.
I moved into a new house with hardwood floors and purchased a V6 HEPA Stick Vac when they were released a little over a year ago. I have since sold off my full Dyson upright because this portable vac is so incredibly powerful and much easier to maneuver on hardwood. It does a good job on the area rugs that I have, but is an absolute MUST for non-carpeted surfaces. And don’t even get me started on trying to vacuum stairs with the upright compared to the V6.
In short, this is the best cordless vacuum I’ve ever used and I have gifted two of them to family members already. Perfect for small apartments and the inevitable ‘spring shedding’ of the family pet.
Wait, is this the cord free or the absolute cord free? Looks like the former, but it also says HEPA, which apparently is only part of the absolute model.
So which one is it?

All Dyson stick vacuums that have the HEPA filtration will have the blue cap close to the handle.
