I was considering a Shark Rotator Lift-Away Professional Upright Vacuum. Generally, Dysons are more expensive and have a better reputation than Sharks, but the Shark model has better reviews. Do I get the Dyson DC24 for $70 less, or will I regret not getting a larger vacuum? (I have a two story 1100 sq foot townhouse, full carpeted, carpet on stairs, 2 cats.)

Get the pet dyson if you have two cats, I have two dogs and no other vacuum has been able to get up the hair with a single swipe! It has an awesome attachment for getting hair off the furniture too.
