Too bad our 5 year old refurb Dyson DC17 is still working great, because I’d be all over this. I remember reading a comparison review of the DC33 vs. one of the Animal Ball models and that Hoover or Eureka that claimed to be better than the Dyson. The DC33 easily beat the other two. I like the sturdiness of the non-ball types. My dad has a DC41 (or 40) Ball type and it seems flimsy in comparison and cocking it back into standing position is not as reliable and stable as this non-Ball type.

well, things were different 5 years ago. Now you have to be leery of getting a refurbed refurb (second generations of repairs). Since they throw none away they just end up back for sale once someone returns them.

Agree. We still have ours from Woot from 5+ ago. Only thing wrong is the hose is starting to crack from age. We LOVE this vacuum. Not sure why other say a refurb of a refurb. We had zero issues!!!
