Ah yes, the worst items that constantly appear on Woot. Only thing missing is a automated robot vacuum.

Pffffft. I love my Dyson cordless. And my old Dyson D7 Animal is still going strong.

I have to agree. I can’t say much about the uprights, but the cordless Dyson (digital slim) far exceeded my expectations.

I’ve bought two of these refurbished dyson vacuums from woot and both died right after i hit the 6 month mark… finally learned my lesson and bought know way better

I guess luck goes both ways. I’ve bought three refurbished cordless motorheads and all are going strong for more than two years. Love them and the only way I’ll buy them now. Even if I get a bad one, I’m now ahead of the game.

I bought the small portable V6 refurb and it would only work for 1-2 minutes before running out of power. Went to Lowes and they sell the NEW one for the exact same price Woot is selling the used refurbished one. Actually I used a $20 off Lowes coupon and it was only $139.

For such a “well designed” vacuum to things are apparent.

1 An over abundance of refurbs on the market place.

2 The really don’t get high marks from 3rd party testers- instead upper middle of the road.

On a today only special Lowes has the V6 new for $239.

There’s no color selection. The desk fan is white; the Cool Link is blue.

Woot is showing all sorts of attachments (Motorized upholstery brush, combination tool, angled overhead brush) with the stick version yet the specifications list only one tool. Will Woot disappoint buyers or delight them when they open the box upon arrival???

Talk about longevity, I purchased a refurb Dyson DC14 back in 2007 from Woot and it is still going strong at my sister’s house. I really like the wheeled Dyson vacs - I purchased a DC40 (ball style, like the one offered today) to replace the DC14 and it causes more issues than it addresses. I honestly think the ball design is a solution looking for a problem. The kickstand in the back is an especially problematic feature.

I don’t do cordless vacs, and if Woot offered a wheeled-style Dyson instead of a ball I would go back to one in a heartbeat.

Here’s the rub: Filters and roller need constant maintenance. Some units have 2 filters.

Authorized repair centers are few and far between. Designed to make it impossible for users to repair.

I just put 2 dead Dysons I bought on Woot.com to the curb and replaced them with a $70 Bissell upright from Target.
