How many batteries does this come with and how long is the battery life?
Anyone know if old Dyson attachments from bigger model will fit?
I own a DC14 upright, DC35 cordless and a V8 Absolute cordless and none of the attachments are interchangeable among them. The V6 attachment system appears similar to my old DC35, but there’s no way I can say for sure. If your bigger model is an upright, I’d say it would be highly doubtful as the attachments are very different between upright and cordless models. You’ll probably need to contact Dyson directly with your model number to know for sure.
Hi there. It comes with one battery. I don’t have info on battery life other than the 20 minutes they talk about.
I have one and I love it.
I bought a new V6 Absolute w/HEPA on sale via Dyson for $200 a couple of weeks ago. It had a 2-year warranty. It came with a dead battery. They did replace it via the warranty though.
This is my third Dyson since 2008 and the first time I had an issue.
It replaced a DC35 I bought on Woot in 2012 and so far, the attachments from the DC35 fit the V6. However, the Absolute i bought came with so many already.
It is a great vacuum once I got it going and can tell a difference from the DC35.

I ordered the V6 from Woot last November. We love it. So easy to just pop off the wall charger and go, and slip it back in. We rarely use the turbo mode, so battery life has never been an issue. We’re not doing the entire house with it in one sitting.
Are any of the attachments included? Crevice tool, soft brush, smaller motorized tool/head, etc? These were included with this vacuum originally - have they been removed for this deal? all I see listed are the heads and the docking station? It significantly waters down this offer if the attachments that were originally included in the vacuum are not included here. Thanks in advance for any clarification.
Shouldn’t the Absolute model be red? In the picture it looks pink like the V6 Motorhead.
Actually if you look at dyson’s ebay page it is the exact same color as the motorhead.
Was wondering that too, since you can pay $30 more and get all the other attachments included from other sources.
It comes with only one battery. Dyson doesn’t sell replacement batteries for the V6’s anymore either (OEM) so after about 4 years or so when the battery no longer holds a charge, you will have to go third party on amazon or ebay to get battery replacements. However, i did just that, and its fine.
I paid like $300 for mine and they were $400 initially, so any price under $200 for these is awesome.
I use it several times daily for 5years, for daily sweep-ups (cats/kids) and its amazing.

Does it have HEPA filtration?
The figures look no HEPA (Blue filtration part), but the note shows it has HEPA-Whole machine HEPA filtration-.
I am confused.
I believe you are correct that it doesn’t have the HEPA part. We’re confirming with Dyson though.

So basically the motor itself has a filter. For more amazing confusion, the pink one’s filter is gray but the red one’s is blue, from what I can tell from other product listings.
I’ ve wanted one of these forevermore! I have 3 long coat.shedding Chihuahuas. So when I get up in the morning the first thingI do while the dogs are still sleeping is dustmop up dog hair. How sweet it would be to own this Dyson.
