Is the battery replaced as part of the reconditioning?
For $160, I’d be shocked if they all are. Typically they are tested, and replaced if needed, ie <80%.
Also, you can get a replacement if needed for approximately $50 on Amazon-just make sure it’s got high ratings, bad one are out there as well.

I got a broken “reconditioned” Dyson from Dyson store on ebay, big mess no joy,
I got one a reconditioned one off Ebay 8 years ago and still going strong.
