“High Fidelity” is such an old branding buzz word.

A good deal - currently $34.88 on the manufacturer’s site.

I guess with Pride Month coming to a close, this manufacturer is realizing they waaaaaay overestimated the interest in gay-themed earplug demand. Their mistake is our gain. In for two.

For this product it marks the distinction between these and the general purpose noise reduction model that sells for about $20. I have not owned these (yet) but from all I’ve read and heard they reduce the decibel level but keep the frequency ranges in tact…hence “fidelity”.

And you kids stay off my lawn!

Most important info missing from these descriptions. “Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 16 dBs.”

You are "hear"by forewarned.

By comparison, most hearing protection for shooting events has an NRR of at least 22 with some into the 30 range. 33 is the highest rating.

A concert can easily be 90+ db. So, do the math. These will certainly help.

Has anyone tried these for a child? How’d they fit? I’d like to get some for my 5yr old.

The manufacturer makes a small size of the regular model but I don’t see one for he fidelity model. But in this case some protection is probably better than none.

So this sold out two hours ago, yet no new item? Why not? Is this a woot-off?

Are you still on the product page? There’s been several more since, including a BOC.

I got mine and used them for a drumming gig. They sounded pretty good and were reasonably comfy to wear. That said, I poked my eardrum with one of them and it was ouchy.
