I bought this a few weeks ago and have been very happy with it. Yes, the seat is pretty damn uncomfortable. I replaced it fairly easily with the seat from my road bike.
I use a Galaxy phone or tablet plugged into the USB port and then mirror the screen on my 65" tv. I currently use the Echelon app but may switch over to another once the free trial runs out.
All in all, I certainly recommend it so far. It’s VERY solid and rides very easily. I definitely like that you can use regular sneakers with it and don’t have to get dedicated bicycling shoes.
