Anyone know more about what the touchscreen does? Their website doesnât have much more info than what is on Woot. Is it Android based and can you download and run apps like Hulu, Prime Video and TikTok? Do you have to pay or subscribe to have it display different types of courses with different scenery and to compete on a leaderboard?
This appears to be about 1/5 of the price as shown on their website, so it seems like an incredible deal, but if you have to keep paying money to use the coolest features, then it seems like it might be a bit of a money pit.

You can use the Echelon Fit app without the membership if you use it in Freestyle mode/Free Ride. Have to sign up and âcommitâ to the 30 day free trial to get access to the app. (Expect hard sell to buy membership. Echelon membership automatically renews and you have to speak to a salesperson to cancel). Reviewer used Peleton app instead and it is cheaper.

Apparently there are You Tube videos which may help you decide to buy. Also You Tube videos are helpful to assemble since written instructions are not great.
So no to the ability to run video streaming apps? I suspect the answer is probably ânoâ, but I contacted them to get a definitive answer. Hopefully they be quick with the answers.
Unfortunately not. Unless someone were to jailbreak it in some fashion it isnât designed to play any outside content. They recommend buying one of the screenless models and using an ipadâŚ
I am still reading reviews, so not sure. You can connect your Spotify acct. One user uses Peleton app and it is cheaper. Another user used QZ (qdomyo-szwift) app from app store. Another uses Apple Fitness app.
Bike quality sounds good. Seat is uncomfortable and replaced by several users. Handlebars are not padded and become uncomfortable
& causes numbness with long ride. You can adjust height of handlebars (vertically), but not forward or backwards (horizontally). App & customer service sound sucky.

Nothing else about Echelon is customer-friendly or pleasant. After using their glitchy, frustrating app for a few days, I quickly determined I would not be maintaining their monthly service. Workouts were meh and nowhere near the quality of Peloton or even the cheaper Apple Fitness. I was excited about the Scenic Rides but the video quality was pure crap. Free scenic rides on YouTube are far superior. And I was also unable to use any of my Apple Music playlists with these rides so I was left with the unimpressive sound quality that comes with the rides.
I have the EX-5S. It is an Android-based 22" monitor. The OS is locked, so you canât display anything except Echelon fitness content, which includes workouts off the bike in addition to rides. Get a TV or tablet if you need to look at something else while trying to get fit.
It looks like there are some workarounds to side load different apps. (Got this from someone on slickdeals)

Is it a 260 or 300 lb limit? The description says both. The picture shows 300.
I ordered mine and got a confirmation and a few hours later got an email that said that it turned out they werenât going to give it to me anyway but if I wanted a black one I could get that one and I needed to reply back to their support email by the 23rd in order for my order not to be canceled. I replied back but I havenât heard anything. Has anyone else had this experience? Does anyone know if the offer to replace the M Oak version with the black version carries the same price tag as the Mossy Oak version?
