I have one and you can’t close off the camera. I would get an echo 5 for $50ish on sale over this just for that one improvement.
also it always is showing “things to do” and clock face doesn’t show up that much at all.
You can turn off the things to do and change the clock face to some really pretty ones. I put a sticker over the camera. I love mine- they’re fun little clocks. Plus they tell me when my Woot stuff arrives.
The one woot shipped me was returned to Amazon by someone else. Something about that status means it refuses to connect to Amazon until I pay what the tech called “retro fees”. Bullshit.
