This is a great Item “IF” they arrives in working condition. I ordered 3 last go, 2 out of 3 arrived shattered.

Yet again - absolutely no packaging just the original cardboard box and Styrofoam shell. It was crap…

Now I have to ship it back to Woot for there review & RMA.

Not the only Wooter who this happened to.

Odd’s are you’ll get a box of broken porcelain .

“Never locate heater where it can fall into a bathtub.”

The existence of the warning means some did that.

Are they still shipping these in their display boxes? How recent was your order?

been wanting to get his for the media room - hope it comes in one piece. does it really work?

It works, but I would recommend an enclosed space - to retain the heat. I bought one from a previous Woot. Long story short - I use it to keep a small room above freezing during the winter. It does the trick, but we keep the doors closed throughout winter. It’s about an 8x12 room.

I imagine the heat would dissipate quite a bit in a much more open space.

Econo? Because the 400W used by this heater are less than 400W used by another heater??

Works, IF the room isn’t high ceiling and not too big. Convection (rising air) means all the heat goes up (well 90% here).

If you want a warm spot in a big room, an infared radiation heater (or heat lamp) would be better.
