No live view of from camera !
You must buy their VR goggles to be able to see what the camera sees !!

Aftermarket monitors or goggles (like Fatshark) are possible to use with this model.

true 4k or what’s the deal with the camera?

Does it come with the one year replacement warranty or not? The listing says a 90 day warranty.

Can we fly to the sky for some pie.

The Woot! write-up is possibly the most serious, cover your ass bit of prose ever to accompany a product on this site.

I don’t see any mention of a one-year replacement warranty on this offer. This comes with a 90 day warranty which is linked at the bottom of the description.

If you are new to this, before investing in a bigger drone I suggest you get something smaller and less expensive to practice. You can pick up a nice X4 or similar drone for less than $30 and learn drone flying skills inside or outside the house very quickly. Plus, you don’t have to register the smaller drones with the FAA.

slydon lost an eye and a perfectly good slice of pavlova to an errant drone. He takes his drones very seriously now.

(How many times do I have to say I’m sorry, slydon? Have another piece of pavlova.)

The Woot offer mentions this: “Best in industry NO FAULT warranty coverage provides hassle free repair or total replacement protection for up to three events and covers shipping costs both ways”. Other web sites offering this same product specify that this same 3-time repair/replace warranty covers a 1 year period. Does your offer provide this same thing, but over only 90 days, then? Update: after reading the 90 day warranty, there is no mention of the 3-time repair, etc. It seens like the offer’s reference to the “…NO FAULT warranty” does not match the actual warranty being provided.

Is it possible to control this drone with a remote control rather than your phone?

Hmmm… Let me ask the vendor and get back to you about that ASAP.

5.8GHz multiple channel video receivers should work with this correct?

So, I’m guessing it’s not very waterproof or even water “resistant,” since no mention is made in the description or specs.

and then

and then, poof!, the generous warranty text vanished from the offer.
