I bought one last time, not the VR model and was really impressed by it, so I bought the VR model as well.

Been wanting a drone, is this recommended as a first drone? Looks awesome!

A 4k stabilized gimbal, FPV with head tracking, and GPS with 4S lipos sounds great for the price, but how laggy is that gimmicky wifi to goggles smartphone controller? And how’s the FPV range and resolution? Is it 5.8ghz or wifi based?

I’m thinking about it but Woot hasn’t been so reliable for electronics…

CNET uses the term “gimicky” a lot.

I bought the Aerial version last time it was up on woot. I’m about 20 flights in now and love the simplicity. Added a cheap FPV monitor and it works great with the sport camera included.

Woot has dropped the kids category. The limited offerings make it appear Amazon may be thinking about pulling the plug.

Newegg has this for 239.00 free shipping… Come on Amazon… Don’t totally ruin WOot!

That model does not come with the VR headset. Using the AMAZON discount today, I picked this up for $291 after taxes and shipping. That’s a good deal!

not the same drone package… different camera set up as well it does not have the VR goggles

I don’t see a radio controller included…does this mean its operated by android device?

Which FPV did you get?

Dang it, missed it. :`(

Just got mine and am getting it charged up. The VR Googles must be for a child’s head because with the straps adjusted all the way out it still feels like I’ve put my head in a vice.

batteries charged, app on my phone, firmware updated… should be fun flying, right? Nope! It took off and then the app didn’t respond to anything, just a garbled voice talking at me. I had to wait for the battery to run low for it to decide to land on it’s own and then the stupid thing decided to take off again and crash. Thank goodness nothing broke.

Before you consider spending hundreds of dollars on this drone, check out their support forum. They are not answering their phones or responding to warranty service. While they may claim they have a “no fault” warranty, good luck actually getting service done. They claim they will respond within 48 hours, but I’ve been waiting for 25 DAYS! A recent note on their forum about a week ago was “Sorry for replying late recently, the whole team was out for a business trip and could not reply you in time. Currently we are back and working on all the cases and repairing drones. We are trying our best to solve your problem as soon as possible.
Sorry for the inconvenience.”

Seriously?!? the whole company was out and no one left to provide customer service.

Save up your money and buy a DJI. At least you know they won’t go out of business anytime soon.
