“Magnetized chess pieces stick to the board, even upside down”

In for the Chess ones.

From the description, “Magnetized chess pieces stick to the board, even upside down.”

Am I the only one who bothers to read the descriptions?

Sorry, I read it. A bit tired and plus I didn’t feel like seriously digesting each word in it for it. Thanks for clearing it up though.

Hey these aren’t Wizards, they’re Willards.

Very good price on the chess game with pieces, I can’t find it for less than 20$, and Amazon is 30$.

In for 1.

The “games” seem to be mainly for kids (except the chess/sudoku ones). Tic tac toe? Quick math? I guess there’s a kid theme going on for all woot sites in celebration of kids.woot.

That said, I still bought the memory one (along with LCD chess) because my memory is bad enough that I could benefit from some kiddy games.

Your answer is NO! can you tell me will this works with a MAC?

Intelligence is over in society…get used to it!

The E714 chess game also can be played without the pieces, according to the description, although I’m not sure exactly how that would work. Perhaps the board area is also a screen of some kind?

In for 3 Einstein E714 Chess Wizard.

At Chess House $38

They’ve always got to have good things when I’m out of money :frowning:

I had a similar looking board some years back. If this one works the same way, each square is also a slightly bumpy button that you can press with a finger instead of the piece.

Yay! This makes me happy! On the slow days at work I’ve already played all the sudokus in all the magazines I can get my hands on. Now I can just bring my handy new sudoku wizard to work! Just gotta hope there’s no sound and my boss doesn’t see!

In for three!!!

Anyone have one of these? Is the resolution/contrast good enough to use outdoors or will it be too faded?

Seems like something good to pass the time in waiting rooms, etc. where I don’t want to drag the laptop or netbook.

I’m so exited! Something obscure that I’ve been looking for a deal on for a year finally pops up! In for 3 E714’s!!!
