I am just wondering why anyone would buy or sell a stand up desk WITH a chair? Think about it and let me know.

Because woot knows we buy stuff with good intentions but overall we are lazy.

We have a stand up desk…trust me, get the chair!!

Because the desk is adjustable and can lower to a sitting position. We have a really great one – continuously adjustable and you can program 4 presets. You don’t want to stand all day any more than you want to sit all day. Raise it and work for a while, and then lower it and sit for a while. Some tasks may require sitting, others don’t. If you have a task that requires materials to be spread out on an adjacent desk, then you’ll probably want to lower the desk and sit (unless you spring for two stand-ups).

In any case, mixing it up – sitting part of the day, standing part of the day – makes for better ergonomics.
