No LCDWave option?

I have no HEPA air that needs purifying.

Free shipping at amazon.

How often do the filters generally need to be replaced?

I had the sharper image one that recently crapped out. Anyone have one here?

Please note that ozone breaks down rubber. So if you have expensive speakers with rubber surround you might want to reconsider this.

I don’t have this brand, but this type of air cleaner is indispensable for people with cats. It’s the only effective way to eliminate litter box odors in Winter. The remotes are handy, too. If anyone can tell me where these are made, I’d appreciate it. (The Winix brand ones Woot has sold before are made in Korea, and the Mitsubishi Plasmawave is made in Japan.)

With a name like that, you kinda have to buy one.

anyone know how much the replacement filters are?

Is this the preferred Air Purifier of Al Gore?

How much are the filters and how often do they need replacing?

Electrolux owns the Eureka and Frigidaire brands in the US now, if you’re looking for something to compare to. Recommending this to a coworker who is an allergy sufferer.

Going by the other brands I have, they usually suggest once a year for the main filter, and 3 months for the carbon prefilter, if it uses one. Six months is usually enough for the prefilter, though, and if you’re willing to carefully vacuum the HEPA filter regularly with an upholstery brush attachment, they can go up to a few years. The ‘replace filter’ light is usually on a simple timer, so you may have to ignore it.

There are a lot of unnecessary words in the name… are there unnecessary features in this purifier? Lux Oxygen?
